I met a tech startup CEO today to get some initial thoughts on the feasibility and scalability of my idea around online education. It was a good opportunity to simulate a pitch situation and gave me plenty of ideas. I have posted some of the issues that were raised below and intend to spend the next week working out how to address them before I meet some VC and angel investors next week to get more feedback...

-  Do you see a trade off between scaling revenue and scaling users?
- You intend to offer 3 versions of the product - how do you intend to segment your user base?
- You are currently working on this plan alone - would you need to build out a team before launching?
- Where do you see the online education sector going in the next 5-10 years?
- Where in the value chain does your central offering sit? How will you build services on top of your central offering?
- How long will it take you to go from 0 to 1000 paid users?
